1968 Buick Skylark

 

For 1968, Buick Skylarks comes loaded with a new top of the line 350 cid V8 engine which is otherwise known as the L77. These new engine had a four-barrel carb, 10.25:1 compression ratio and was rated at notable 280 bhp and an enormous 375 lb-ft of torque.

This car is also offered with power steering, brakes and power top, dual exhaust and factory chrome road wheels. Its engine is teamed with automatic transmission single reverse flow exhaust system which made up of corrosion resistant steel that last longer. It has an independent ball-joint suspension, four-link rear suspension and coil springs for the front and the rear.

 

To lessen tunnel height, the vehicle's driveshaft is angled to some extent. This shaft is connected to transmission and rear axle with the use of needle-bearing universal joints. This year's Skylark also has a standard manual recirculating ball steering.
